JOB DESCRIPTION

The Zink Foodservice Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for representing the Zink portfolio that includes Smallwares, Tabletop and Furniture, to dealers and end-users within their designated territory.  Dealer responsibilities include conducting sales meetings and training, project management, presentations to end-users in the field, annual planning, factory sales reviews, new product introductions and overall service of the dealer accounts.  As a representative of our factories, this TM will need to have a grasp on competition and be able to identify and target key conversions.  Developing relationships with key dealer personnel is a crucial part in growing sales and identifying new opportunities.  This position has a heavy emphasis on Hospitality end-users, consisting of hotels, chain & independent restaurants, casinos, country clubs, and convention centers, to name a few.  50% of this TM’s time will be spent working in the field with end-users, independently and on behalf of our dealer partners.  Creating a business plan to identify and pursue these targets, developing relationships, driving product demand and establishing yourself as a resource while finding solutions for these targets is vital to the success of this position.    An annual tactical plan will be created, evaluated and adjusted to meet company goals.  Balancing and prioritizing opportunities with both dealers and key end-users is a necessity.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Develop and implement agreed upon sales and marketing plan which will meet both personal and business goals expanding manufacturer product penetration in the Territory
  • Build key end-user relationships
  • Create a marketing plan to cultivate this business through individual efforts, team collaboration and dealer relationships
  • Develop a growing sales pipeline, maintain CRM system and keep opportunities updated
  • Plan and follow up on all Territory joint calls with our manufacturers
  • Schedule regular appointments with dealers to review product needs and new opportunities
  • Continually update customers on product changes, modifications and new introductions
  • Provide solutions to customers’ problems 
  • Participate in Industry Associations, Trade Shows and Conferences
  • Keep customer displays and marketing materials current
  • Keep assigned Zink Culinary Center Showroom current and organized
  • Work in a team environment coordinating sales efforts
  • Seek new applications and customers for our manufacturer’s products

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize
  • Hospitality, Foodservice or Sales experience -PREFERRED 
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Ability to create sales plans, execute and adjust as needed
  • Solution-driven
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Proficient computer skills; willingness to learn new programs as needed
  • Experience with CRM software – PREFERRED
  • Ability to communicate proficiently via phone and email
