The dose card. Tape it over the sink.
Eyeballing powdered detergent runs five to ten times the needed dose — money down the drain twice. The dose survives staff turnover better than the training did.
Powdered detergent · routine 1% · level measures
1-quart spray bottle1½ teaspoons
1-gallon basin2 tablespoons (1¼ oz)
2-gallon bucket¼ cup + 1 tbsp (2½ oz)
4-gallon bucket⅔ cup (5 oz)
12-gallon sink2 cups (15 oz)
Heavier soils: double it (2%). The tough jobs: triple it (3%) — and raise the water temperature first.
