Restaurant & Chain
QSR, fast casual, fine dining, and multi-unit chains. From a single kitchen refresh to a chain-wide rollout, dedicated restaurant specialists own your answer end to end.
Zink Foodservice is a commercial foodservice equipment, tabletop, and furniture manufacturer rep serving restaurants across eight Great Lakes states — you test with us, and buy through your dealer.
The challenges we hear every week.
We never assume we know your answer before we've listened. But if any of these sound familiar, odds are we've seen a version of it.

Menu flexibility & customer trends
Limited back-of-house space and equipment cost make it hard to chase LTOs and seasonal menus. We spec versatile platforms that adapt as your menu does — and validate them on your actual items first.
Labor — skill, availability, cost
Inconsistent staff skill makes multi-location rollouts risky. Our chefs help you define gold standards per menu item so the result is repeatable at every store.
Space & kitchen footprint
Through FitKitchen site visits we observe prep, cooking, and labor patterns on-site to uncover speed and efficiency you already own but aren't using.
New opens, refreshes & remodels
Equipment, tabletop, smallwares, and furniture through one team — coordinated with your dealer, from spec to install to follow-through.
You're not adding a layer. You're reaching the manufacturer.
A middleman stands between you and the manufacturer. Zink is the opposite: we are the manufacturers' presence in the Great Lakes — their expertise, their test equipment, their programs, staffed locally. The manufacturers don't field a separate team here; we're it. When Zink is in the room, the manufacturer is in the room — working alongside you, your dealer, your design consultant, and your architect.
And you never pay us anything. The manufacturers fund our work as their shared local team — there's no markup, because we never touch the purchase. Your dealer writes the order, the way it always has. Our incentive is exactly yours: we win when we solve your challenges.
“Does utilizing Zink add cost?”
No — and it can't. We never touch the purchase and nothing is marked up. Every manufacturer prices its equipment with our work already built in, whether you use us or not. The price is the same either way.
In fact, the manufacturers put us here because we're their most effective and financially responsible way to serve this market — without Zink, each would have to fund its own team in the Great Lakes, and that costs more, not less. Choosing us is how they keep costs down — theirs, and yours.
So the only real question is what you collect: the working kitchens where your menu meets the equipment before you commit, the spec that stays identical across every location, the honest comparisons across our whole portfolio that no single manufacturer will show you, and the advocate who makes your warranty problem the manufacturer's problem.
The chains that understand this put us in the room on day one and work us hard. Do exactly that.
The value, stated plainly.
Already paid for, whether you collect it or not.

Common restaurant and chain questions.
Does Zink sell equipment directly to restaurants?
No — and that's the point. Operators buy through a dealer or distributor. Zink is the manufacturer rep: we do the spec work, samples, and test-kitchen time, and the purchase flows through the dealer you already use.
Can we cook our menu on equipment before buying it?
Yes. That's what our eight culinary centers are for — bring your menu, cook it on the platforms you're considering with our chefs beside you, at no charge.
Does Zink support multi-unit rollouts?
Yes. One team covers eight Great Lakes states, so a kitchen specified once can repeat across locations with the same brands, the same drawings, and the same local support.
Does buying direct from the manufacturer cost less?
No — the price is the same either way. Every manufacturer prices its equipment with Zink's work already built in; without us, each would fund its own team in this market, which costs more, not less. What changes when you work with Zink is what you collect: the test kitchens, the identical spec across locations, and the advocacy that come with it.
How does Zink get paid?
By the manufacturers we represent — we're their shared presence in the Great Lakes, which costs them less than each fielding their own team. You never pay Zink anything, and there's no markup: your dealer writes the order.
