JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events—including trainings, open houses, and culinary events—with responsibility for managing event logistics, vendor coordination, and adherence to defined budgets. May also assist in the planning of corporate events such as tradeshows and sales meetings:
    • Sourcing catering and entertainment
    • Book hotel blocks and serve as a point of contact for changes and updates
    • Organize signage and event logistics setup (room layout, bar setup, etc)
    • Use templates to create invitations, digital signage, and menu cards
    • Ensure showroom & welcome screens are updated for each event
    • Ensure C-Store and coffee areas are stocked and organized
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and visitors, managing front desk responsibilities with professionalism and discretion while ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Assist with answering phone calls and digital signage.

  • Independently manage the day-to-day operations of the Zink Columbus showroom, including overseeing scheduling through the internal calendar system, maintaining cleanliness and readiness for meetings, and ensuring hospitality standards are met for visiting guests.

  • Lead coordination efforts between sales, culinary, and marketing teams for showroom and event setup, proactively managing scheduling conflicts and resources

  • Oversee the inventory and fulfillment process for branded merchandise and promotional materials, maintaining organization and cost tracking.

Skills

  • 2-4 years experience in events planning, preferred Hospitality & Foodservice industry
  • Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, and event planning software
  • Basic knowledge of digital signage tools and AV systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Photography or videography skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to lift and move event materials as needed
  • Flexibility to support occasional afternoon or evening events as needed
