Effective June 1, 2024, Antunes updated their restocking charge to 20%, which is consistent with industry’s standards.

See below for a tariff update:

Giving careful consideration and evaluation of the recent changes in the US government trade policies, here are the tariffs we are taking into account, although not yet final.

  • 20% tariff surcharge on all imports from China, effective for shipments in transit as of March 4, 2025
  • 25% tariff surcharge on all imports from Canada and Mexico, postponed until April 2, 2025
  • 25% tariff surcharge on steel and aluminum imports from all countries landed into the US as of March 12, 2025
    • These tariffs are now expanded, without the exceptions or exemptions from the 2018 list of products.
    • These tariffs now apply to an additional list of steel and aluminum downstream derivative products.
    • This metals tariff will be on top of all country-of-origin tariffs, applied cumulatively.
  • We are monitoring for upcoming reciprocal tariffs, which will also be stacked on top of the above elements.
  • We are monitoring recent increases to raw material global price indexes for both plastics and metals.

Variable tariff surcharge will be applied to specific product lines impacted by import costs.
Tariff Surcharge Implementation:

  • Chinese Products – a 65% tariff line will be added to acknowledgements and invoices
  • Taiwan Products – a 10% tariff line will be added to acknowledgements and invoices
  • Vietnam Products – a 10% tariff line will be added to acknowledgements and invoices
  • These additional charges will appear as separate line item listed under each product. If the tariff rates change, we will adjust the surcharges accordingly.

From 1st February 2025, the following changes will be implemented on.

UK Made Ceramic Product Portfolio 2.9% price increase

Sourced Ceramics, Melamine, Glass & Wood Product Portfolio 2.9% price increase

In line with UK Made Ceramics, our sourced product portfolio except cutlery will increase by 2.9%. .

Churchill & SOLA Cutlery – HOLD Prices

This year we repositioned our Churchill cutlery with a 20% reduction in list pricing. For 2025, we will hold the cutlery pricing with support from our suppliers to ensure cutlery is price positioned competitively.

Effective April 1, Edlund Company will implement a 7% increase on all parts and products. Any orders placed for immediate shipment prior to April 1 will not be affected by the increase.

We are monitoring this evolving situation closely and will continue to evaluate any changes to these policies and costs. As we navigate these business challenges, we will continue to take appropriate actions to ensure our customers are treated equitably and fairly, and that we do not comprise the quality or availability of our products.  

TARIFF NOTICE:

To mitigate the immediate impact of these potential tariffs, Edlund Company has taken a proactive approach that includes investments in technology, supply chain optimization and inventory management. The trade policies may be fluid at this point, but we recognize that should these tariffs continue, we will be unable to fully absorb all the associated cost increases, and we will be forced to implement price adjustments where necessary. Should an adjustment become necessary, this letter will serve as 30-day notice of potential changes to our pricing.

Federal Industries will implement the price increase detailed below.  Our previous price increase was in 2022.  The economic and technological changes in the past 3 years have been driving the increase.

Forbes Industries has held its current pricing since July 1st, 2023, a year and a half. However, due to cost increases in labor, overhead, and some raw materials, we need to adjust our pricing. Forbes is dedicated to re-evaluating our pricing and costs. All these changes will ensure Forbes products maintain the high-quality standards that you are accustomed to and expect from us.

New Pricing will be effective for orders received on and after January 1, 2025. New price lists will be sent out shortly.

  • Gas fryers made in the USA: 4%

  • All accessories and add-on options: 4%

Frymaster will provide a more detailed notification by March 31, 2025, once we learn more about tariffs on materials and components from both Mexico and Canada, ramifications of tariffs on imported steel and aluminum, and reciprocal tariffs.

Frymaster/DEAN will honor pricing on open orders marked for shipment prior to September 1, 2025. POs with later ship dates will need to be repriced. Customer Service will reach out to you if repricing is required.

On February 1st, President Trump issued an executive order imposing an additional 10% tariff on all goods imported from China, effective February 4, 2025. As a result, Hamilton Beach Commercial is communicating a tariff-driven increase in our list prices of between 3% and 8.8%.

Merrychef is excited to announce a new pricing strategy. Effective March 2, 2025, they will be implementing a Unilateral Minimum Retail Pricing (UMRP) policy, which will replace their existing MAP policy.

This policy aims to ensure that our partners who support the growth of our brand can protect their return on investment. Please note that each dealer is free to establish their own resale pricing and decide whether to follow the policy.

Effective March 15th, 2025, we will be issuing a 5% price increase on all Merrychef branded cleaning chemical products, including both the oven cleaner and protector.

The tariff amounts will vary depending on the location where the goods are manufactured.  The vast majority of Rancilio items are of Italian origin and therefore the tariff will currently be 10%.  If an item is sourced here in the United States, no tariff will be added. 

Rancilio will have a general price increase effective June 1, 2025.  The details of the new price list will be sent to you shortly.

The Rosenthal Sambonet Paderno 2025 price list will take effect on February 1, 2025.
Most of our items will reflect an increase of around 3% due to the general increase of operational costs with the following exception:
-No increase on most of our stainless‐steel flatware.
-An 8% increase of all silverplated items due to the higher cost of silver.
