JOB DESCRIPTION
The Territory Manager role reports to the Regional Vice President and is responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans in their assigned territory. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively to drive business relationships and provide creative solutions to customers’ problems. Must be able to continually learn about products, modifications and anticipate customers’ needs, while collaborating well with multiple parties. Prior sales experience is required, and experience in the foodservice industry is preferred. This role requires regional travel and some national travel for industry functions and professional development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement agreed upon sales and marketing plan which will meet both personal and business goals expanding manufacturer product penetration in
- Identify key end-user targets and create a marketing plan to cultivate this business through individual efforts, team collaboration and dealer relationships
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota
- Plan and follow up on all Territory joint calls with our manufacturers
- Seek new applications and customers for our manufacturer’s products
- Build trust, communicate effectively, drive successful execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer and collaborate with others to provide solutions to solve customers’ problems
- Work in a team environment coordinating sales efforts and communication between all team members
- Schedule regular appointments with dealers to review product needs and develop new opportunities
- Continually update customers on product changes, modifications and new introductions
- Participate in Trade Shows and Conferences regionally and nationally when assigned
- Keep customer relationship management (CRM)Col system up to date
- Provide updates of opportunities in Territory as required by Company
- Keep customer displays and marketing materials current
- Keep assigned Zink Culinary Center Showroom current and organized
- Work within the sales and support teams for achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term goals in line with Company vision and values
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Degree
- Ability to communicate proficiently via phone, email, and in-person
